Anthony Lunn. Methane Sampler.

“I’m leaving in the new year, no matter what happens. I’m going to go to Australia. I’ve been for a holiday there and it’s a different standard of living to England. There’s a lady in Job Club who comes from Perth, she’s making enquiries for me to find a job out there. There’s a lot of camaraderie in mining, but I won’t be sad to be leaving, it’s not really a good job anyway. The dust levels are high and it’s hot and humid underground. We cough up dust in our phlegm. When you spit, it’s all black. It’s always in your system. I won’t be here in a year.”
